Photography Option 3 (Day 2)

Today I was to take three pictures. One for fear, love, and hope. For day 2 I was instructed to gather “props” and take my photographs. With this assignment I only needed three photos and below are those photos with descriptions on why I believe they represent each topic.

The above photo represents fear. I believe this photo (to me personally) represents fear. It is a dark setting with minimal light. The area that is visible contains a creepy baby doll. To many dolls are uncanny and have an unnatural vibe around them. So having a nearly dark photo with the uncanny doll as its centerpiece gives an uneasy feeling. As if something does not belong.

This next photo I say represents hope. Recently we went back to my grandparents to deliver supplies. We could not eat dinner with them sadly so instead we ate inside out car and facetimed them. Especially during these trying times, photos like this show that people still hold onto hope and one another even if we are separated. This can also apply to the next photo.

This last photo represents love. Although we cannot be with out loved ones such as grandparents, and that we must be certain distance from each other, symbolically outstretching our arms to form a hug still shows that this virus will not disrupt the care and love we have for family.
